My dh will be happy to know we will never run out of toilet paper or paper towels again........... maybe!
one thing I noticed today was that I actually had coupons for things that the list didn't point out. I had a $1 off bounty papers towels and they were also on sale at the store. There were a couple other things like that too. Now that I'm used to the list, it's easier to spot things like that when I'm clipping the coupons out.
anyone else using Grocery Game?
I've stocked up on spaghetti sauce, tp, paper towels, pam cooking spray, flour, crackers and soup so far.

But, as it is we hardly have room for the stuff to get us by week by week. I really hate this apt sometimes. But I hate moving even more so I have a feeling we'll be stuck here awhile.

DH and I are talking about a small garden this year so I will most likely not have to buy veggies this summer!

If I'm able to make it to town (an hour away) this week I'll be stocked up on taco shells and canned Green Giant veggies and bakery items. And for every 10 packs of taco shells I'll have an extra $5 to spend on other items, just trying to figure out what I should get...paper products or meat? The taco shells are $1, I have 80 coupons for $1 off, plus at Cub this week there is a coupon for buy 10 GM items, get $5 off your order. Wish I could have gotten more taco coupons!!
My stockpile is getting small, but it sure has been a life saver!! I keep telling DH we MUST move to an area that doubles coupons and has winetags!!

I've chased down a few good deals at CVS/Rite Aid too and I'm afraid I'm getting a bit obsessive . . . but the checkbook will be happy!

the idea behind it, is to use the coupons in conjunction with the sale prices
Keep all your sale circulars, I keep mine in file folders by date. Then when it tells you to use a coupon for something on sale, you have it! I bought a TON of quaker oatmeal bars yesterday. They were on sale and I had $1 off coupons
