We used to make our own pizzas all the time on our pizza stone and they turn out great. I guess we had just gotten out of the habit of doing it. The girls had their regular red sauce/mozzarella. I made one white pizza with mozzarella/fontina/kalamata olives/ roasted red peppers/chorizo. Yummy!
Thanks for reminding me!

You're so welcome!
Chorizo would be yummy on that. Mmmmmm. Great idea.
I need to get a new pizza stone. I broke mine just a short time after I got it.
It's the key to a chewy crust, I think.

I like doing our own pizza becuase I have to make them smaller than a standard "large". Then everyone can get the toppings they want on their own pizza.
Yes, I think my crust is much improved since our pizza stone. And a VERY hot oven!
Dh claims he likes my pizza better than pizzeria pizza...but I am not sure if it's the taste, the texture, or that he isn't running out to get it AND pay for it, LOL.
