come in to help stage the furniture to help the house sell better? I would love to see what they can do & how it helps sell. Just a thought.

My real estate agent hired someone to stage our house when we had it listed a few years back. I honestly thought there wasn't much for her to do, but she did a great job. But as nice as our den looked, we changed it back within a few hours. She felt very strongly that our TV should not be the focal point, but rather the fireplace. That's all fine, but she took our couches and faced them away from the TV and turned them around to face the fireplace...well, we don't watch the fire at night as a family, we our watching our Must See TV! It wasn't practical for us at all. But is was a fun experience!

I bet it was neat to see how it would be laid out. Atleast you know what she recommend in case you want to redo it when you list again!

She did give me a lot og good ideas. And what was cool about it was that she used what I already had lying around the house. She took some pieces that I had in the den and put them in the kitchen, moved around some wall hangings, rearranged some furniture...it was great to see her perspective.
