Is it for your IRL book club?

Just for enjoyment?

Do you recommend it? How many stars would you give it?

"Innocent Traitor" by Alison Weir. It's a historical fiction about Jane Grey (the queen for nine days before Queen Mary had her beheaded). It's a good one along the lines of Phillipa Gregory. Alison Weir is a historian who usually writes non fiction; this is her first foray in fiction.

I finished "Angel on the Square" this afternoon. It's a "young adult" book, but I really enjoyed it. Loved all the references to places I've been in St. Petersburg. Kayleigh picked it up the other day and started reading it as well. I'm not sure how far she'll get; I think it's a bit above her (she's in 2nd grade!). But she's comprehended what she's read so far.

So, now it's back to "Drums of Autumn." Time for a Jamie fix! :hugs:

The Other Boleyn Sister by Phillipa Gregory. At first I loved it. Now I'm not sure about it. It's a little "Cosmo" at the moment.

I liked this one. The foot binding parts are revolting, but I thought it was a really good story.

I like her a lot. I read her book on Queen Isabella which was very good.
