It's outstanding! It's been a long time since I would rather read than do anything else.

I'm reading "Ever After" by Karen Kingsbury. It's a sequel to one I read just recently. I just got to a really sad part.

Finishing up listening to Saturday by Ian McEwan on my commute. It's pretty good. It's a day in the life (a Saturday . . . imagine that) of a brain surgeon. He gets in a car accident and has a confrontation with some thugs then he ends up running into them again . . . he has a whole subplot going on with his family, so even though the whole story takes place in one day, he tells a lot of background on his family life and career, etc. The thing I like about it is that it's told from the surgeon's perspective and in his voice, so the text and observations are very logical and analytical, but he's dealing with very emotional events. It's a good read. I like Ian McEwan. Atonement is another good one he wrote.

Just started Fall on Your Knees. Good so far . . . I would expect no less from a Kerry special. I'm only about 20 pages into it but I'll update you when I get further along.

Still working on The Devil and the White City (about the 1893 World's Fair). It is very, very good. Lots of history, and I think this murder is going to be a real sicko! Big thumbs up so far!

Just finished Trouble by Jesse Kellerman

Ok---I felt like he was trying to impress me throughout the book with his vocabulary. I think he used the Thesaurus the whole time. Also I feel like he tried to shock people just for the sake of shocking people. It kept me interested but I dont like having to consult a dictionary that often when reading. Sheesh. Also you can tell a guy wrote it becasue the sex scenes are ridiculous

I got French Women for All Seasons from the library and I'm not enjoying it. The author is French and tres condescending. Yuck.

I took out Snow Flower and the Secret Fan at the same time. Some of my IRL book clubbers raved about it so I'm excited to read that on. :D

I just finished a few books this week. I read to Julie Garwood novels, Slowburn & MurderList. Both were good. And Angels Fall by Nora Roberts.

I tried Atonement for my book club but I could not get into it at all.
