It's a holiday for us. Eva and I are going to make the 'company mac and cheese' http://marchmommies....p?showtopic=347 that is in The Cookbook for lunch today. I've also started a big pot of navy beans to have with biscuits and sald for dinner.

I just took some chicken out of the freezer. I think I'm going to make Chicken tortilla soup (in the cookbook). I've been in a soup mood lately and DH like it.

We did Shake n Bake pork chops and corn and dh pan fried some potatoes. It was really pretty good. (He actually dabs the grease off the potatoes for me-lol)
Now I need to go find some chocolate....

Change of plans. I opened the chicken and it had a smell to it. Dh said it smelled ok but I just wasn't sure. I'm really weird about meat and smells. I ended up throwing it away and quickly defrosting some perch fillets. So we had baked perch fillets (fish sticks for Kinsey), chicken rice-a-roni, broccoli, and sliced tomato and cucumbers.
For desert we are having fresh strawberry shortcake.

Sounds so healthy & so yummy too! My dh is the same way with smells. If he evern asks, 'does this smell ok to you?' there is no point in making it. He won't eat it! ;) LOL
