Still working on Fall on Your Knees and listening to Stones from the River. Should finish Fall later this week but Stones will take a while.

Didn't get a book for M's Day, but DH did give me an FM transmitter so I can listen to my Audible books on my MP3 player through my car stereo. :blush2: Sweet!

Just finished "Forever in Blue" (the 4th of the Travelling Pants books) and will get back to "Fall on your Knees".

"Forever" didn't hook me like the others did but at the end I was teary as usual.

I read it several years ago. I remember liking it, but it is confusing. Hope you enjoy it.

It is starting off a bit vague so I hope it clears up quickly so I can get more into the story

;) I am copying and pasting from the previous week. :P

I read slower when a book's not that interesting. I really try hard to finish books. Thankfully, I'm almost done with this one.

We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shriver.

I'm having trouble getting into it and my book club meeting is Monday. My friend loaned me this and The Queen's Fool at the same time. Guess which one I took with me when we went away for the weekend? :hugs:

I did finish The Tender Bar. I did like the book--not one of my favorites but I thought the writing was good. dont get me wrong--I enjoyed it but I felt like there was alot of "filler" sometimes.

No new books for me for mother's Day, got a nice hanging basket of flowers for the porch.

Picked up Carol Higgins Clark's new book, Laced, at the library, started it last night. Also trying to get into The Winds of Change by Martha Grimes for my book group, not really my kind of read. Also started Jimmy Buffet's book A Salty Piece of Land the other night. Can't really get into any of them right now for some reason.

I think I might head out to the book store to get a copy of A Thousand Splendid Sund, by Khaled Hosseini. He wrote The Kite Runner, which I loved.
The library has a huge wait for this one.
