I had an Open House scheduled for yesterday from 3-5. The day before that, I noticed that the water pipe in the basement hada slow leak that must of been leaking for months! We had to tear apart the whole room, air it out to dry and throw out all the ruined stuff and haveit all put together by the next day. We cleaned all day, inside and out.
Guess how many people showed up? None! So that brings our grand total of people that have looked at our house to ZERO. Three months of it being on sale and not one person has walked through the door. Not one showing at all.
At least the house is clean! Let's see how long that lasts, lol.

So I cleaned my house for nothing!

Aw, I'm sorry it hasn't been showing. That really must be frustrating. I'd hate to do all that work and feel like it was a waste, but hopefully it stays clean.
I'm sure someone will look soon. Dh was just telling me how much the market has slowed down around here. There are houses still for sale that were there last summer.

Gosh Kerry I feel like you have been trying to sell this house forever...sorry to hear its going poorly.
I think you should write to the show called "Sell This House" or "Buy Me"
Seriously--its worth a try. I would think the Cape would be very desirable...but thats just me.
the house next door to us has been for sale for four months and the guy is selling for the price he paid for it and nobody has showed interest!
Wanna live next door to me?
