I am only like 60 pages in and the book is only about 140 pages long. I am not looking forward to finishing it. I hope this story starts to go somewhere very soon.

That sounds kind of like the book I've been reading for the last 3 weeks. The book is so-so. It's just that the author introduced too many characters at once. So, it's SO frickin' confusing.
