I'm now reading "A Thousand Splendid Suns". I'm on page 102 but I'm going to start reading again after this post. I'm on Part Two. Part One was good ... there were a few passages that were hard to read w/the abuse but I got through it. It's not too graphic just hard to read and sad.
I'm actually thinking of reading another book along with this one to get something more "up beat".
I need to finish this book by Aug. 7th when our book group meets which shouldn't be a problem.

Monkeewrench by P.J. Tracy., it's the first book by this mother/daughter writing team. I read the third one last week and loved it. Got the second one here when I finish this one.
Finished Deadhouse: Life in a coroner's office, yesterday. Good book if you like that sort of stuff. Non-fiction.

Onto the 3rd book in the Harry Potter series. I've read them all, but am re-reading them before reading the last book that's coming out. I am enjoying them even more this time!

Reading Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier (also wrote Cold Mountain) and listening to Rebecca by Daphne Maurier. Both are really good.

That sounds really good. I'm gonna go look it up right now.

I like Emily Giffen...fun, light reading. I read Angelas Ashes just recently and thought it was pretty good.
