It was really nice to get away. We went to the beach for a few days with 16 of us (8 kids and 8 adults), came home for a day to unpack, do laundry, pack and drove to the Washington DC area for DH's cousin's wedding with 12 of us this time, stayed for a few days and returned home. It was so much fun but I was so wiped out that it took me almost a week to fully recover...lol! I wish I could live on the beach during the summer. We walked a lot every day on the boardwalk and even took a surrey ride one morning with 2 surreys. Boy, was it a workout when I switched places with my FIL since he couldn't pedal to be in my BIL's surrey who is much taller and bigger built than the rest of us. I've been back to work for almost a week but it's been crazy as always and the kids were home last week while I worked so it left me no free time on the computer. The kids started summer day camp this week and they really enjoyed their first day yesterday. Their favorite activity so far is swimming which they get to do every day. I'll do my best to catch up reading the board since it looks like you've been busy! I missed being here!

ETA: This wedding was so much more relaxing than my cousin's wedding a month ago. There wasn't any drama other than my BIL and SIL almost missing the wedding ceremony so we left earlier with DH's parents so they wouldn't be late. It was very well organized and was one of the best weddings we've attended. The bride teaches traditional chinese fan dancing to young girls part-time and her oldest girls gave some performances which was very cute.
