How did everyone do this week??? Eat well? Drink your water? Get in your exercise? Need a kick in the pants? :hugs:

If you weighed in, how did you do? Let's keep going, and then we'll be ready for the next challenge!! :)

WELL I did awesome this week. Really. Got in exercise every day... ate really well, nothing I would consider "bad" drank lots of good H2O. Felt great all week, motivated, energized.

Then I weigh-in today and the scale was UP three pounds!? WTH? Did I gain 3 lbs in muscle? I was pretty shocked last week when I lost 3, so I guess I just got it back. Its not going to discourage me tho, since I'm feeling good. I do want to get a new scale though, this one does not seem very accurate, I dont trust it!

So, still chuggin. :hugs:

Great week for me! I'm down another pound.

I have been reading a good book, Tosca Reno's The Eat-Clean Diet. (I borrowed it from the library) http://www.eatcleand...om/Default.aspx It's already pretty similar to how I eat anyway, but it's nice to reminded that I'm eating the healthy, clean way!! :hugs:

Hugs,
Jess

That's just the way it happens sometimes, Sarah!! It sounds like you're doing great!! Take your measurements, I'm sure that they've shrunk!! :)

I weigh/measure on Sunday, but I had to share three cool things that happened yesterday:

1 - I had to switch my wedding ring to my right hand because it's TOO BIG! (this feels VERY weird, BTW!)

2 - I was able to pull my jeans off without unbuttoning them! LOL! I put my next smaller size on this morning, and while there's still a little overflow, they fit MUCH better than even just two weeks ago.

3 - Someone NOTICED!! A friend I haven't seen in about a month dropped by last night, and she actually did a double-take! :D

Had a great week! Today will be my day 3 of "gym exercise" which was my goal. I've been doing great with my eating and my water and I'm down another 2lbs this week!

I measured yesterday and am down an inch on all my measurements, too. I'm pretty excited!

Honestly, I did crappy.

Exercised twice. Got felled by a migraine so that took out two days right there; the gym was closed today and I didn't know until it was too late to get in morning exercise without dying in the heat.

Didn't drink enough water, ate like I had PMS.

Oh, wait, cause I did.

But.... the scale hasn't budged. Neither up nor down.

I can live with that.

I thought this was the end of week 3, isn't it?
Oh well. No matter.
I am not measuring, but I am down a pound, for 4.5 pounds total.

I did 6 days of walking (33 miles) and 1 short bike ride (3 mi.) with the kids and 1 day of upper body weights.

Okay, here are my results for the week:

Was down 1.2 lbs to 221.2 ... and most notably, lost TWO inches from my waist! It's about time, I've been on my diet/exercise plan for 5 weeks and hadn't seen any changes there (except the upward kind, ick!). Lost a little bit or stayed the same everywhere else. Pretty pleased considering I only got to the gym 2 days out of 7, and didn't really put forth 100% either day.

Back on track this week, though! :aggressive:

Initial stats:

Chest 48 in
Waist 39 in
Hips 47.25 in
Bicep 13.5 in
Thigh 25 in

Week 3 stats:

Chest 49 in
Waist 38.5 in
Hips 46 in
Thigh 27 in

Week 4 Stats (Current)
Chest 49 in
Waist 38 in
Hips 46 in
Thigh 26 in

My work pants were always slightly large (well ok, pretty dang big--because the director was afraid the next size down would be "too tight") but now, they won't stay up at ALL. THey literally fall down without even getting hung up on the hips..Guess I'll have to buy my own.

I haven't been exercising a LOT this past week due to a variety of reasons (picked up more hours at work (for instance today I went got up at 6 am and didn't get home until 4 pm). While it doesn't seem like much to some, my FI leaves the house for work at 5:30 (so we only have time for family dinner) and we only have one car/house key and I just don't have any energy by the time I get home. I'm trying to do it anyway though. Oh, not to mention, our little walk at Town Lake (last weekend) ended up with me brushing up against poison ivy and so far it hasn't gotten better. I think it may be infected or something so I have to call the doctor and schedule and appointment tomorrow. :hugs:

I've been doing good on eating smaller portions (but eating more often), and having SOMETHING in the morning (even if it's just OJ). And I've started eating lunches too (I used to eat one to two meals a day--starting around 5 pm). Also drinking more water and less soda (well except today :hugs: Those babies wore me out. I needed the caffeine for energy man!).

ETA: I haven't WEIGHED myself because I'm on my period and I don't want to get discouraged by water weight/bloating issues

I have been out-of-town...having fun and not doing anything I should have been doing! :0) lol

I'm getting back on track tomorrow w/o any guilt b/c sometimes life calls for Banana Coladas, chips/dip, and a quick vacation to the beach with a friend (and some great books!).

So, I'm now kicking myself in the butt and getting moving. I look forward to checking in on Friday and seeing what damage I have done, lol. :hugs:
