You've all got me to thinking... I've been "trying" to lose weight since last Fall... wanting to.. since about then as well. Well, wanting to enough to actually make some efforts after my fitness hiatus.
Here's the deal...I want to drop the weight loss thinking.. all it's doing is adding pressure and frustration.. AND pick up HEALTHY LIVING. When I was in a healthier spot that's really what I did focus on... fitness goals, water and nutrition... then as I started to shrink I bought clothes that fit and was happy to buy smaller sizes, but I didn't AIM for that. KWIM? So, I'm getting back to that...
This site is a great example of keeping the focus on what's important. Yes, I'm still going to weigh each week and track my stuff. I just enjoy it... but I'm making health goals.. not just "I need to lose such and such"... My body will fall into place just like it did before and it will take time, but as long as I'm feeling good.. feeling stronger.. which I have thanks to the workouts this last couple seasons.. I'm on the right track.
It needs to be about building myself up, focusing on what I can have and do, and getting stronger! Anyway, just wanted to share. Funny, how it's taken me this long to have the lightbulb come on. Oh well.
