I hope everyone is hoping on the scale this morning and whipping out the tape measures. Thanks everyone for joining me in the motivating challenge. Even tho I didnt give it my best (health issues) I improved my fitness and really got things going. It really helped to have you guys right there with me!

So everyone, please check in!

I guess I'll go first.... I'm so excited!

On 6-6-07 I weighed 159.
chest: 34"
waist: 32"
hips: 38.5"
thigh: 23.5"
arm: 11.5"

today, 8-3-07 weighed 152.
chest: 33" down 1 inch
waist: 31" down 1 inch
hips: 37" down 1.5 inch
thigh: 22" down 1.5 inch
arm: 11" down .5 inch

total of 5.5 inches and 7 lbs lost!

I'm so excited to even lose a little more. Now what i need to do is try on some old skinny stuff... see if anything will fit for the fall and go SHOPPING. Also want to dig out my old measurements from 2 summers ago when I first discoverd Pilates. See how I compare to then. I feel like I'm still not *there* yet but I'm doing darn good. Not sure I'm up for another challenge, but surely will keep going! Love ya guys, have a great weekend

Oh good, someone else was first this time!

I didn't measure, although I am sure I should have. I'm too lazy!
I was down a total of 8 pounds for the 6 week challenge.
My eating habits were really good--I really thought about what I was eating--which was hard for me. I am pretty proud of that. I switched from 1-2 cans of Diet Cola a day, to 1-2 cans a week, replacing with water. Glad I am breaking that expensive habit!

WTG everyone!

Ummm I did terrible. So terrible that I'm sure I may have gained weight and inches. I really don't feel like posting my stats! In fact I'm not even going to jump on my scale till I feel like I've lost a bit. I'm hoping that we can keep this going for more time...... I really need a good kick in the butt! If we kept a thread going weekly and at the end of each month, measure and weight in? Any one else interested? I just have to get back in gear. Once I put my mind to it fully I will get there I know.

WTG Sarah and Kristina! That's great results. Keep up the great work!

Don't feel bad...I'm back to one pound more than what I weighed when I started. Sigh. I got an injury running at my MIL's, and even with trying to be somewhat careful up there, I gained weight back. Then I got frustrated and discouraged. I swear if I even look at junk food I gain weight!!! LOL!! I probably should measure myself. I'm finally exercising again after a few weeks off.

Yes, I could continue to do this.

Thanks Sarah. Sorry to hear that you got an injury. That definetly would set you back. Me too, I gain weight just by looking at it and smelling it!!! I've always had to work really hard to get my weight off. I know it's possible, just have to keep motivated. I start good and loose interest fast. I've lost weight well doing South Beach, but I can't do that till I stop nursing. So till then, I will have to just keep trying. If all else fails, once I stop nursing, I will be hitting phase one of South Beach.

Let keep this going longer!

You whoooo....... Pam...... where are you??? :hugs:

ok, mine is not that impressive but it's good for me, IMHO:

Initial stats:

Chest 48 in
Waist 39 in
Hips 47.25 in
Bicep 13.5 in
Thigh 25 in

Today:
Chest 48
Waist 38
Hips 45
Thigh 26
Bicep 13.

As for my weight, it's been weird. I started out at about 205-205.5, now I just weighed myself (though I usually weigh less in the morning), and it said 204.5. But it had gone up and my period had completely stopped after I got the steroid shot and came back a week later and hasn't left yet (so going on I think 8 or 9 days in addition to the initial 3-4  :hugs:).

Overall though, my clothes are started to fit much more loosely. :yahoo:

ETA: I must admit MOST of this was more from watching what I ate and when I ate (I would normally go with only eating 1-2 meals a day, and I've upped it to closer to 3-4 for the most part). I haven't really done much exercise other than the normal take-your-kid-to-the-park-and-chase-her, run-after-daycare-kids-while-working thing. I just haven't found the time (though I'm sure it's there if I looked even harder) to drive out somewhere nice and walk, nor have I found-yet-home exercises I like--though I haven't tried the WP stuff yet).
