with me working crazy hours, but still wanting to get a hot meal made and ready for my family when they get home, I see the crock pot as my only option.
So, give me your best, easy, kid friendly crockpot meal recipes.
TIA,

My kids LOVE this one.
This is the recipe I got from http://www.meals.com/Recipes/RecipeDetails...?RecipeID=31181
Estimated Times
Preparation Time 10 mins.
Cooking Time 480 mins.
6 boneless chicken breasts
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
2 cans (10.75-oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can (10.75-oz.) condensed cheddar cheese soup
Rinse chicken and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix undiluted soup and pour over chicken in a crockpot. Cook on low all day (6 to 8 hours), according to manufacturer directions. Serve over rice or noodles.
Serving Size: 6
Now, here's how I do it. I don't even bother with the seasonings anymore. I put the chicken in and use cream of chicken or celery, the celery is really good. I then add cheez whiz and some milk. I mix it up and let it cook all day.
My kids love it on egg noodles but it's good on rice too.
Really I was surprised how much they like it. Dh's mom has been over on those nights and loves it too.

Don't know if your kids enjoy roasts or not (mine love them!) but if they do, here's a super easy one for the crockpot:
3-4 lb roast
1 pkg of Knorr's dry vegetable soup mix
2 small cans of diced tomatoes
Optional: Sprinkle about 2 tsp of Kraft Minute Tapioca to make the sauce thicker after adding all ingredients and stir.
Spray bottom of crockpot with Pam cooking spray, place your roast in, dry soup mix, and diced tomatoes. Stir it a bit and cook on low 8-10 hours or on high 4-6 hours. I'm usually cooking this in a hurry and put it on the high setting. Sometimes I add veggies like a can of green beans or diced up celery/carrots (cooked).
