we took our house off the market. It clearly isn't going anywhere. Guess we'll try again in the spring.

Kerry,

I am sorry to hear that you took the house off of the market. Heck, we have been on the market for one year now and we haven't had one showing. We are leaving it on the market, you never know. We still want to move and we have decided that we are going to look into opening a retail chocolate/coffee shop in town. We want to be close to the schools for the kids and the activities. They can come to the store after school and we can get them to the sports activities as we need to.

Wishing you better luck in the spring!!! The Michigan market is stale, stale and we don't see it changing much anytime soon. Oh, remember when we were selling our other house? Well, we found out last week that the new owners are in foreclosure!! I am so sad, that house is beautiful and we even won a certificate through the city for a "Beautification Award." It won't be receiving any awards, the people are from Iraq and didn't take care of it. It seems that they enjoyed cutting down the trees, putting up ugly statues after they painted them and sitting on the patio doing personal hygiene and not pay the mortgage. The neighbors want us to move back, we can get it for $80,000 less than we sold it for. UGH!!!!!!

Wow! I'm sorry to hear about you old house! It's scary about all the foreclosures. They are happening a lot here too. Looks like we picked a bad time to sell our house, heh?

THat just sucks Kerry. I have noticed our tiny town has tons of houses for sale now and few of them sell quickly. It must be slow everywhere.
At least you get one more year on the cape :swoon:

Yup that's my thought, one mroe year. But every year that things remain the same the harder it'll be for one of us to make a move. I guess we'll see what happens next year.
