Library? about 1/2 of them. if they are too new and I'm on a huge waiting list, I'll buy instead

Bookstore? about 1/4 of them

Friends? on occassion, maybe 2-3 a year, more so my mom lends me good reads she's bought

What do you do when you are done with the ones you bought?
funny you ask. I'll either lend them to my mom or put them on the shelf. Just last week I owned up to the fact that my shelf runneth over, so I boxed up all the books I knew I'd never read again, no matter how good they were, and I'm off to the used book store for credit this week. I have some awesome books in there, should account for lots of $ for me to get more books! whoo hoo

Library? This is where I get the majority of my books as I'd run us broke if I bought new all the time.

Bookstore? Rarely, but occasionally, more often it'll be a used book store rather than new.

Friends? A girlfriend has lent me books as well as my mom & her neighbour, but very few.

What do you do when you are done with the ones you bought? I keep them, I'm a book hog, I can't give or sell them at all, I love books. Probably my only possession that I'm truly obsessed about!LOL!

Library? Some of them, trying to use the library more, and our church is opening one soon too!!!

Bookstore? Again, some of them...lately I haven't been buying as many

Friends? Well, most of the time I have a way better selection than my friends.

What do you do when you are done with the ones you bought? I've been known as a personal lending library! LOL!
I used to keep all of them, but I am more selective now, donating some to the library or giving them away. They're one of my worst clutter items, so I'm learning to part with them more. When people borrow them, DH jokes to them that they should just keep them.

Library? I get most of my books from the library or the library book sale. They have a sale a couple of times a year where you get a plastic grocery sack and you can fill it for $2-5 (depends on the sale). I can get a lot of books in one of those sacks. :) I also check out quite a few books from the library

Bookstore? very rarely

Friends? occassionaly

What do you do when you are done with the ones you bought? I pass them along to family and friends or donate them back to the library so they can sell them again.

Most of the books I read are from the library, since I have access to one quite frequently! Books get donated constantly. Just yesterday on my shift, about 150 books were brought in to be donated. I go through them and grab the ones that look interesting. I have a huge pile of books to be read now. Some books have been given to me by friends. A friend gave me "A Thousand Splendid Suns" last summer, but I haven't read it yet.

When I am done with them, I usually keep them on my shelf or pass them along.

Mostly the library, some from my mom. I don't really like to buy books because then I have to keep them. In our tiny house, storage is at a premium.

Library? This is where I get most of mine. I go online and reserve them, then they send me an email when they are ready to be picked up, so I just need to run and and grab them. Love that!

Bookstore? A very few. We just can't afford my habit, financially or space wise! LOL

Friends? Some. My mom buys all of her books and she reads as much, if not more than, me and she passes most of her books on to me.

What do you do when you are done with the ones you bought? I usually pass them on to my mom and then donate them or sell them in our yearly rummage sale. Most of the books I break down and buy, though, and books I tend to want to keep. Again, a reason I don't buy many books! LOL
