:welcome: I decided not to walk in the dark in the rain. My DH probably thinks I am on my deathbed, because I almost *never* skip my workout time, and I can't do Pilates quite that early because I am too stiff! However, I was just not into being cold and soaked this morning. Of course, now I will have to be prodded to get my workout done later...Sigh!

Hope you are having better luck getting your workout in this morning!!

Bummer!! That's what happened to my Sunday run, we had to cancel because of weather. It was a bit rainy here last night but thankfully cleared up so we could run!

Have you ever tried kickboxing?? It might be a good sub for days when you can't get out for your walk, it uses different muscles and is fun!!

Hugs,
Jess

I haven't tried kickboxing...but have tried TaeBo, and really hurt myself, LOL. Are there any videos you recommend?
I did B&T this morning, I might break out one of my new DVDs later, depending on when the furnace guy leaves.

You have to be careful w/ kickboxing not to extend your arms or legs out all the way so you don't lock out your joints.

I love Cathe's kickboxing, she has KickMax and Kick, Punch, and Crunch that are really good workouts. http://www.cathe.com They are a bit more intense.

I just tried out Turbo Jam last week & they are fun!! Not to plug my own website, but you can order them here.

Click on shop for products and then vidoe & you'll see Turbo Jam. I tried out the Punch, Kick, & Jam, Cardio Dance Party, and the 20 min workout and they are fun!!! The time goes by quickly
and you get a good workout! It's really good cross training for walking too, you hit different muscles & get a total body workout. I used the weighted gloves for more
upper body work too.

Is your furnace ok? We are getting a new one this year, ours is almost 30 years old and on it's last leg!!!

Hugs,
Jess

Yeah it's fine. It's actually only about 5 years old. It's just getting its annual checkup and new allergy filter-thingy.
