He missed an award by a few seconds- he was 4th in his age group (ages 40-44). He'll be 45 in December, so I told him next year he'll switch brackets and probably win his age group. Not bad for an old fart, eh?
I admit I was a little down this morning as this is the 10K race I've run in the past, and we had planned to run this together until my stinkin' hip injury flared up. It's probably just as well, he would have left me in the dust.
