How was the shot? Do you have a bionic woman patch with flashing lights again? LOL!

Well aren't you sweet for asking.
The shot was O.K. Not as painful as the knee one was last year; I suppose because I have a lot more fat on the hips to cushion it, LOL. The Dr. used the ultrasound machine so he could shoot the needle into the most inflamed spot. Apparently it showed I had a lot of fluid there, and he did say he thought it was most likely all related to the IT Band since they are side-by-side.
~sigh~ I just can't escape the hell that is the IT Band.
I have to give it one full week off, only light walking and *maybe* light biking towards the end of the week. It does feel quite a bit better, but I can still feel something there.
I go back in two weeks to discuss my "options." He thinks I would be a great candidate for surgery and downplayed the seriousness of the procedure (I must have had a freaked out look on my face).
I remember you asked before how surgery would help, and I found the following link. (Forgive me if I already posted this link, I'm having a brain fart). He said the surgeon would also repair the tendon by placing "anchors" on it or something.

Thanks again for asking, I appreciate it.

Sorry, being nosy here. Just wanted to say how sorry I am you are going through this. It shouldn't be this hard to stay in shape!! I know I have had more injuries than when I weighed 230 pounds and it stinks. I hope you feel better soon, Lisa. You deserve the break
