OMG, I can't imagine ever *running* in these! And if I do, I'll look something similar to a Shrek-like creature lumbering along. :swoon: I can wear them only one hour a day until I work up to 12+ hours. So today I am up to 3 hours and I'm counting down the minutes to taking my shoes off, LOL. The Dr. said eventually I won't even be able to notice them. Crikey, my feet must be *really* screwed up. :grouphug:

LOL, thanks for asking. A little grouchy (imagine that!), but I'm getting a whole lot done with the extra time in the morning. My closets are all transforming from summer to winter stuff, filing cabinet organized, mudroom cleared out, old paint supplies and cans cleaned up, etc. Calm down now Jess, I'm sure you are getting excited just reading about all that. ;) Also got my Christmas shopping started and the school yearbook started by taking a ton of pictures this week. Even got my playground painting at school finished. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try a 30-minute treadmill walk as part of my 4 hours with the orthodics. Yikes! Wish me luck. :)

LOL, right now I'd take those huge braces Forest wore over these stinkin' hard plastic wedges. ;)

Good Luck, Lisa!

When I got my orthotics, I never really even noticed them. I had plantar facitis and they helped enormously. I hope you have great luck with them as well.

I'm glad they worked for you! Are yours full size or just 3/4 or 1/2 length? I tried some semi-custom ones a few years ago after getting Peroneal tendonitis. They helped a little with that, but I think they also contributed to my problems now because they were too stiff in the wrong places. Keeping my fingers crossed these work! Thanks for the good luck wishes. :hugs:

Mine are full length. I really do like them for exercise but I rarely wear them in my other shoes now. I wear Born loafers almost all the time this time of year and the foot bed isn't tall enough to slip the orthotics in and still fit my foot! So I just figure that Born is a good shoe and they have enough support for day to day wear.

I hope you have great luck with the new orthotics. You've certainly had more than your share of injury!

Hope they start feeling better soon. Is this just for feet problems or is also to help the knee/hip stuff?
