I have tried just about everything, including Alli pills, Pilates, and trying to cut down on the junk. I'd lose a few pounds and then just gain them back.
So at work someone donated a bunch of South Beach diet books. I skimmed through them and I am now on day three of Phase One. I am finding that it is really easy for me to follow. I am not a huge sweet eater, so sugar hasn't been hard. I thought I'd miss the carbs but it wasn't as bad as I thought. A lot of the food that is allowed I love to eat anyway, like hummus and taboule. Coffee is allowed, thank God. Wine is not, but I ignoring that rule
I already lost a few pounds. I love seeing results right away. I think I may only need to go through the first phase to lose the amount I want to lose.
I like the idea of eating healthier. I definately need to eat more fruits and veggies and less Cape Cod chips!!
I am going to try to start exercising, but with work, school and the kids it has been hard to fit it.
Got room for one more here?
