I am so proud of us because our carriage was filled with healthy stuff! We bought green beans, brocolli, carrots, green peppers, canteloupe, apples, oranges, bananas, oat meal, fish and lean meats. Tonight for dinner we are having tilapia, green beans, and brown rice. I am skipping the rice because I am still in Phase One of the South Beach Diet.
I started this diet on Sunday and I already lost 3-4 pounds. I FINALLY cracked my plateau weight that has not budged for three years (well, I did see a budge when we got home from Cameron's marathon stay at the hospital, but I swear, it lasted like an hour).
I don't think I'll stay on Phase One for the entire two weeks. I recently read that for someone who doesn't want to lose a huge amount of weight could skip Phase One altogether and just go straight to Phase Two. I wish I read that four days ago!
I am loving this diet though. It's been awesome!!

Great job! I'm a fan of the South Beach Diet, it's really what got me started on eating healthy and realizing that I was a carb-o-holic. I still stick to the lean meats, good carb, and healthy fats. It's worked great for me and I've kept the weight off for almost 4 yrs now!!!!!!
