I just did my first 30 Day Shred workout. Whew!

The dvd has 3 different 20 minute circuit workouts. You start at level 1, when you're ready you move to level 2 and then level 3. I was going to be all cocky and start at level 2...after all, I *used* to exercise every day! :P Reality set in that's it's been a year since I've worked out every day, so I started with level 1. And here I sit drenched in sweat! LOL The very first thing after the warm up was pushups!

I think this is a great dvd for those getting started, trying to get back to exercising, and those trying to schedule a workout into their daily routines. Each workout has a warmup, 3 circuits and a cool down. The circuits are: 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, 1 minute abs.

What'd you do today?!?!?!

I'm at a convention on a college campus in Texas. I walked with a friend at dark-30 yesterday morning, walked around campus all day, then spent about 2 hours in the pool treading water (and throwing water balls at one another). My feet hurt too much for the early morning walk today, but I'll still get in lots of walking around campus from class to class.

I didn't want to pay for all my meals here, so I brought South Beach meal-replacement bars. Man, those things are filling. And they make me very thirsty, so I'm drinking TONS of water. My pants and shorts all needs belts, now. That's never happened to me!

I did an hour long Kathy Smtih bellydancing workout. I bought a couple to try so I could get some practice during the week for my classes on Thursdays. It was kinda funny cuz as fit as she is, the woman can NOT move her hips, LOL. But she has professional belly dancers in the background so you can follow someone who knows what they are doing at least.

LOL. I remember a workout tape I had (although I can't remember which one) and the instructor was so not right for the workout. Must have been some aerobic workout and the instructor wasn't a very dancey person or something. Made me laugh (and feel good! LOL)
