I haven't been too motivated this week about much of anything, just feeling kinda blah. (Or maybe I'm subconsciously dreading being another year older on Saturday and STILL haven't lost any weight...) I did some exercise, but not a whole lot. Ate better than usual, but nothing spectacular.
I have noticed that I've been having a LOT less sugar cravings and not really much of an appetite at all actually. I'm guessing this sudden change has a lot (everything...) to do with having the IUD taken out. Hopefully it will eventually show up in some results in the measuring tape or on the scale.

There were hardly any posts this week... are we off the wagon or just down in the dumps??

AF had me off the wagon AND down in the dumps! Finished out the week eating better, though, and just got back from a 10 mile bike ride.

I fell off the wagon and it ran me over
. I'm still making pretty good choices but need to improve that again. I think if I start making a menu and planning meals again that will help. Wandering the store and throwing things in really isn't planning is it? I can't wait until school is back in and my schedule isn't so crazy. DH's whole job thing has kinda throw us out of whack too. Neal has actually lost about 15 pounds the last few weeks from cutting out sugar. Those little snacks of cookies, ice cream, candy, etc finally caught up with him.
Anyways, I want to go to the farmers market this weekend and load up on fresh fruit and veg for next week. I also need to get propane for the grill so we can grill again. Lots of healthy options that way!

we've been really busy . . . which of course is no real excuse! lol
DH and I have been eating pretty well, so there's that. I've stopped getting on the scale every day, so I think that's helping me at the moment anyway. when I do step on it later in the week we'll see if it bums me out all the more or not! lol
I have a exercise plan in place for once school starts (and my youngest will be getting on the bus with her sister for the first time!!) and that's to not go home after the bus comes, but to do my walk/run then. they get on at 7:30 so I can still get home/shower/eat and start work at a decent hour.
so I just need to slip some more in the meantime . . .

I'm still here.
I couldn't keep up with Phase One. I had no problems cutting out sugar but the carbs killed me. I started feeling really sick and lightheaded after about five days. I did drop about seven pounds, but I felt horrible.
I added carbs back, but the good kind. Lots of multi grains and rye. All in all I lost five pounds. I'd like to lose another five pounds, but whatever.
