I'm doing a 6 week, 100 push-ups challenge with some mama's on another board I post on. Thought I'd see if anyone here wants to join in?! Doesn't matter if you can only do one or if you have to do them modified, the program varies for different fitness levels.

OK I've done mine for the day! 44 pushups...that's 14 more than I've ever done in one day/training session before! I bet I'll be sore very soon, LOL!! Looking ahead at home many I'm supposed to do later in the week is making me kinda nervous though, LOL.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to do "real" pushups or start out with modified (on knees.)

Don't know if this will help your decision...but "The New Rules Of Lifting for Women" book suggests NOT doing them from your knees because it takes away a lot of the work that your core is doing in the full body type. Its better to do them against a wall/counter/bench at an angle rather than on your knees.

Thanks! I did the "real" ones. Felt like such a whimp, knowing I was way stronger just a year ago!

I'll do my first day tomorrow!

Day 2 of week 1 is done...OMG, can I throw up now?? LOL!! Maybe I should have pretended like I couldn't do so many pushups on my initial test!

Ha! I was thinking the same thing last night after I did mine!

My arms aren't really sore, but my abs are *killing* me!

I'm coming in late but would love to try this, of course I could only do 2 push ups so I'm at the really low end, but will be excited to see 42 at the end of the 6 weeks.

This will be a great addition to my personal trianing I'm doing.
