Italian Spaghetti Sauce Rate Topic: -----

2 lbs. ground beef
3 medium onions (chopped)
2 cups sliced mushrooms (I used one, small can.)
29 oz. can diced tomatoes
29 oz can tomato sauce
12 oz. or 2 6 oz. cans tomato paste
2 T dried Basil
1 T dried Oregeno
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

1. Cook ground beef, onions, mushrooms and garlic in skillet over medium heat for 10 minutes. Drain and transfer into crockpot.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients.

3. Cover. Cook on Low 8-9 hours.

I served it over penne rigata pasta. Use your favorite pasta. My whole family loved this sauce. You can modify it to add part sausage vs. all ground beef too. Use whatever meat you prefer. I'm sure you could add more veggies and leave out the meat too.
