One of my best friends from high school, Vicki, is getting married in June!! I'm not in the wedding, but I will be attending & want to look smokin' hot in a cute summer dress!!! :) I know that there will be a lot of old friends there, so I want to look great! I saw some of them at my HS reunion (my friend Vicki was there), so some of them know of my weight loss but others I haven't seen since HS!

I do well when I have a goal to shoot for so this is great for me! That gives me a little over 2 months so I'm going to keep up my Pilates/ weight training so that I can show off my newly sculpted arms/ back!!

Anyone else have a goal they're shooting for? Wedding, high school reunion, or just swim suit season???

Hugs,
Jess

My goal is just getting in shape for swim suit season. I have a great new suit, now I just need to slim down my hip, thighs, and tummy so it looks great! I also, still have the (secret) goal of getting my tummy flat enough that I can get it pierced on of these days...

I have two goals, around the same time - swimsuit season (I want to be able to walk into the pool & only worry about my DDs & having fun, not about cellulite, anything jiggling, etc). And my younger sis is getting married mid-June - I'm a bridesmaid. Again, I want to be able to throw on that dress, dance the night away & not worry about presenting my best side, or sucking something in in pictures :aggressive:

My goals are: (1) my sister's wedding in August; I just ordered my dress and want them to have to do some major nip/tucking on it the month prior to the wedding! (2) I don't want to be embarrassed to take the kids to the pool or water park or laying out....

Add me to the list.... My ODD is getting MARRIED in September! I have LOTS to accomplish before then! I keep lurking here, and going to WW meetings with my YDD hoping some of it will sink in by osmosis!! But I guess I really have to start WORKING at it!! LOL- actually eating the RIGHT foods- instead of just thinking about eating the right foods- watching my portion sizes... even though I have not lost an ounce in the 3 weeks since I started- I feel like I am learning--and I know I just have to apply those rules! A biggie for me: skipping breakfast...often skipping lunch, or maybe just having a diet coke and a piece of string cheese- and by the time I get home- my willpower is right out the door- I shove everything in sight right in the old pie hole!! And after that- you can bet I don't feel like exercising!! I am learning that *I* need to make some changes- change my habits... I have 'dieted' and lost weight before- but this time, I would really like to lose weight- but in a healthy way... and then maintain a healthy weight- and get into (and keep) a fitness routine that includes treadmill/walking and pilates... I am sporadic right now- I did B & T on Tuesday- yesterday and today will be nothing- and tomorrow I will probably do 30 min on the treadmill.... I am slowly working on changing my bad habits- and creating new GOOD habits!! I am hoping to lose 25 lbs before the wedding, and be able to look good in whatever I decide to wear.... (I hate dresses....) but perhaps a skirt and a blouse with a pretty jacket... I do have a "daydream" of looking so damn good that all my ex-husband's relatives that I haven't seen in years- do a double take when they see me... ESPECIALLY my ex's mother---she is the most gossipy, badmouthing, two-faced, evil witch I have ever met! I last saw her in December, and I was wearing baggy old sweats...ugh!! This time I want to look GOOD!!
