Well, assuming there's not some reason that you're supposed to be fasting today, I say go eat something. It's never a good idea to ignore your body's messages. Here's something you might consider...
Try an exercise in mindful eating. Stop everything else that you are doing and eat 1 raisin. See how long you can savor a single raisin before eating it. Before putting it in your mouth, look at it, feel it, smell it, take note of how you feel. Eventually, place the raisin in your mouth. Take time to note the sensations: the texture, the flavor, the smell, all the subtleties. Try to keep your focus completely on the experience of savoring the raisin. Chew it slowly. Note how it changes. Note how your body responds to the exercise: what your mouth is doing, your saliva, your stomach, your entire digestive system. Note how it feels when you swallow the raisin.
When you have finally finished the raisin, note how you feel. Consider how it would be if you were so attentive to everything you put in your body. Consider if you still have a desire to eat. If so, determine a good selection that will delight your senses, satisfy your craving and satisfy your body's need for quality food. Take a small portion of what you desire and eat it as mindfully as possible.
Hope that helps.
Peace,
Karen

Here's a quote for you to keep in mind- "don't exchange what you want MOST, for what you want at the moment" I heard it last week at WW meeting and it has really stuck with me and helped turn down temptations a few times already!! GL!! Kari
