I finished The Scarpetta Factor by Patricia Cornwell. It was very good! Now I'm lending it to our pastor.

Now, I'm in a rush to finish The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. DH was on the waiting list and there are hundreds of holds on the book at our library. It's due back Friday and cannot be renewed. I've read almost 100 pages so far.

I finished Laced and Santa Cruise both by Carol Higgins Clark. Santa Cruise was a quick read and nice for this weekend since I had a cold. Zapped is next in line. We don't have it at our local library so I have to wait until I go to the next town on Wednesday. Two more books and I'll be finished with this series :dntknw:

I catching up on magazines for now.

I just finished The Charming Man by Marion Keyes last night and I'm not sure what to read next. I have 2 other Keyes books and about 7 Dave Duncan (Scifi) books that I borrowed from a friend ages ago but haven't been able to get into them.

Thinking about started The Clan of the Cave Bear, i have the first 5 books now.

I got a notice from the library that a book I had on reserve was in, so I stopped in to quick pick it up and ended up getting 3 more. :hugs: "Day after Night" by Anita Diamant (author of one of my all time favs, The Red Tent) "Shanghai Girls" by Lisa See (author of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan - btw, this was the book I originally had on reserve) "The Memoirs of Mary Queen of Scotts" by Carolly Erickson (author of The Hidden Diary of Marie Antoinette) and "A Girl Made of Dust" by Nathalie Abi-Ezzi.

Unfortunately, all 4 books are short-term loan, so I hope I can get them all in! I started the Mary Queen of Scotts book first.

I just picked up Shanghai Girls too....hopefully it is good! And thanks for the reminder about the Carolly Ericson book. I came across it once and then forgot about it. She is a great writer!
