I picked up "Unafraid" last week, a fictional story of Mary, mother of Jesus.
I also picked up the entire "Sons of Encouragment" series by the same author (Francine Rivers) so that's what I'll be making my way through the next couple weeks. Off work from the 24th through Jan. 3, so I should have plenty of time for reading!

reading The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown, it's in DC so that's making it fun. although I'm catching a few errors! ha.
easy fast read. I borrowed it from my dad like 2 months ago and decided I'd better read it before we go there in 2 days so I can return it. with all this snow it's no problem.
then I'll turn to book #6 of Outlander for the holidays.

I liked The Lost Symbol and DH thought it was only okay.

Just finished "Cleaving", the follow up to "Julie and Julia".
I read this book so you all don't have to. The sweet Amy Adams version of Julie is completely squashed. The new Julie, since she became a huge success, had a two year affair with an old flame but refused to give up her husband. After the affair ended, she was such a wreck that she traveled the world to essentially avoid her still waiting husband. She was probably the most selfish, indulgent person I had ever read.
I will give her props for writing with intense honesty. She is not the easiest person to like and she really put herself out there.

Finished U is for Undertow and I liked it. I need to get reading but I've been taking a break and reading the words on my DS games!

I finished both Unafraid and The Prophet, but I haven't been much in a reading mood this week. Weird!
