Nick is still reading Dan Gutman, Weird School books. We'll see what he brings home from the library. He has books 1-10 and brings home the higher numbers in the series from the library if he can find them.

And, his older brother dug up some old Encyclopedia Brown, Michigan and American Chiller books for him. He has so many books up in his upper bunk that I'm surprised he finds room to sleep up there!

Alex is reading the Big Green Book of Beginning Dr. Seuss Books. He read I Wish That I Had Duck Feet to me the other day.

Oh, and they are both using their new bookmarkers that I cross stitched for them for Xmas. :grouphug:

Nick said he picked up an American Chiller by Jonathan Rand today at the library. Another one to add to his "stack". :hugs:

Colin is reading - Hank Zipzer? - by Henry Winkler.... He really enjoyed Niagara Falls, or does it? , so he got a couple more in the series.

Brandon is reading Bones - a graphic novel series.

Matt's reading a Matt Christopher book he got for Christmas. This one is a hockey story. Kayleigh is reading the 3rd book in the Mysterious Benedict Society series. We *had* to get it the DAY it came out back in October, but she's first getting to it now! LOL

Ellen . . . commented to me this morning "I'm reading 4 books right now!" so weird how do they do that? One is a Geronimo Stilton book, one is a Clarice Bean book, one is an Andrew Clements book . . . and that's all I got. I cannot keep up. I think shortly I'm going to steer her into longer books . . . (like Harriet the Spy and Tale of Desperaux both of which she loved but take her a little longer!)

Audrey reads level 3 books and loves it so I got her several for christmas and she blew through most of them, but is re-reading them for homework now.

Kayleigh is like this, too! She's got the book she's reading for "Battle of the Books" for school, then a few others she rotates between (including Mysterious Benedict Society, an Irish dance book, Little Women, and one of the Anne of Green Gables books.)
