Like a giant meatball & potatoes
Mix pork, beef, milk, one envelope of soup mix, shake & back (both packs) and 1/2 can of the cheddar cheese soup, together.
Pour O'Brien potatoes into the crockpot, covering the bottom complete.
Form meat mixture inot a ball & place in the center of the potatoes. You do not want the meat to touch the endge of the crockpot. The potatoes will protect the bottom.
Pour remaining cheddar cheese soup, cream of mushroom soup and mushrooms over the top.
Cook on low 8 hrs.
When I first got this recipe she forgot the shake & bake in the ingredients - so I made it with some bread crumbs. I also did not have cheese soup, so I used a jar of brown gravy.
When I got home from work and checked on it, there was A LOT of grease around the meat. I used my turkey baster to suck most of it out - and I used 90% lean ground meat.
This is not a "pretty" meal - it looks kinda gross - but both DH & I liked it. The boys wouldn't touch it! I would make this again - but only once in a while.
