I'm more than half way through Catcher in the Rye. I'm really starting to get into this one now!
I started our women's book club slection which is a long one: Ahab's Wife. I was reading along last night and got confused. I went back and realized that after page 12 it skips to page 65...missing about 9 chapters! What a pain! Where's the quality control? Ah, well....

I won't be reading for awhile since I start school tomorrow...unless you want to hear about New Mexico History or University studies.
LOL that would be very confusing! Hope you can get another copy soon.

I read Ahab's Wife a few years back. It was very good but I remember it taking until around page 100 for things to start picking up.
I'm pouring through a bunch of Cody McFayden and Keith Ablow books lately. They're scary books about serial killers and the FBI agents and forensic psychologists that hunt them. I don't usually read those type of books but I am finding that they are very good, easy entertainment!
I did take a brief detour from all the mayhem to read a book for my book club called "Without Reservations." It's a memoir about a woman who took a leave of absence from her life to discover herself and blah. blah, blah.
I have Steven King's new book waiting for me at the library. It's called "Under the Dome." I am a little nervous to read it because in my opinion, Stevie lost his mojo after his accident. We shall see!

I finally finished Cather in the Rye...now DH and I can discuss the book on his next off Friday which will be the end of the month, the 29th.
And, it's time to start turning those pages of Ahab's Wife. I did get a new book with all the pages!
