I was finally getting into a groove again and not totally hating it. Even looking forward to it. I think, though, that I bumped up my mileage and my pace too fast too soon. I went from running here and there for 2 miles right to doing 3 - 3.5 mile at a time a few times a week, and pushing my pace during those runs. I should know better. I DO know better.
So I'm sitting out with what I think is quadricep tendinitis. This happened a couple years ago as well and I didn't deal with it right away and it lasted for months.
My college roomie's dh is a sports medicine guy for the Marine Corps so he gave me some exercises to do to strengthen my quads, but he said it will take a good month (that is AFTER I get rid of the tendinitis.)

Oh, no...sorry to hear that. But, I'm glad to hear that you are taking care of yourself.
