My weight is too high, blood pressure too high, sugar is too high, bad cholesterol is too high and good cholesterol is too low!!! All of this I suspected.....So I need to renew my commitment to myself. I guess going to the dr was the first step.

Good luck with whatever changes you plan. The temptation will be do to try to do everything at once, but you might find it easier to stick with it if you do things in baby steps. Take up one new healthy habit (start with something easy) and stick with it for a few weeks. Then add something else. And continue like that. Over time, those little changes add up and it's a lot easier to keep it going.
