Okay, I was a total slug over the weekend, but I'm back on track now.

Monday - treadmill - 28 minutes 1.75 miles

Tuesday - treadmill - 35 minutes 2.25 miles.

I've been moping around due to dog loss.

Beautiful day today and Daisy would have loved being out there w/us. We took an hour-long walk through the subdivision with just hoodies on!

Back on the wagon again!

Monday -- Zumba class
Tuesday -- 5 mile run on this beautiful, beautiful day! I set out at lunch for just 2-3 miles but really didn't want to go back to the office, so I extended the run a bit.

Wednesday - easy treadmill walk - 2 miles 36 minutes.

I took a short 1 mile walk today during a break at work. And I have about 15 minutes of yoga planned for tonight to make up for this second glass of wine I poured, otherwise I'll be over my calorie limit for today -- so I'm sure to get it done.

I'm on week 5 of my annual 8 Weeks to Optimum Health and all is going well. I'm down about 9 pounds, which basically gets rid of all the weight I gained over the holidays. :grouphug: Another 5 more pounds and I'll be at what I consider the upper end of my ideal weight.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the May 8 race. This was the 25K that I was hoping to do, but ultimately I decided that I won't be ready to run 15.5 miles by then. Then Ski's dad's inurnment service at Arlington got scheduled for May 4 and it seemed that 2 back-to-back trips was going to be too much. So I just decided not to go. Then it turns out that Guinness World Book got back to the coordinator and the group is all set for a world record attempt -- most barefoot runners in one race. And in order to get the largest number of runners, they're going to drop the world record attempt to the 5K race, not the 25K. That's something I can do, so now I'm struggling with trying to work out the logistics to attend both the race and the Arlington service.

And if I hadn't poured that second glass of wine, this post would have been a lot shorter. :) Off to do some yoga now.
