Good grief! Is it Thursday already?
I don't even remember what I've done this week. Not as much as usual. My left foot is dealing with 'top of the foot pain' which is a somewhat common barefoot runners' issue. Nothing serious, just the muscles and foot structure responding to hard work, similar to the way the rest of the body responds to exercise.
OK, so checking my exercise log for this week, I see:
Monday was a rest day
Tuesday was yoga and an evening 'glow stick' walk with the kids.
Wednesday was yoga and an evening 'glow stick' walk that started with the kids, both of whom had just finished an hour of gymnastics and both of whom gave out on me in the first 10 minutes -- so I went back out for a 30 minute power walk by myself in the dark, still with my glow stick.
Today included a 1 mile walk during a break at work and a 5 mile bike ride with DD in the evening.
I don't remember if I posted this here -- but DD is training for a kids' triathlon in May. This is her second week of training. I offered to check into a training club/group for her, but she said she'd prefer just to train with me.
I'm not sure which one of us is enjoying it more. It's great mother-daughter time and fun being active together. Her only goal for the race in May is to finish and have fun. My only goal for her training is for us both to have fun and to make sure she doesn't overdo it and hurt herself.
Peace,
Karen

Awesome on all accounts (except for your foot pain).
I will live vicariously through you with your wonderful mother/daughter relationship.

Tonight, Thursday, I did 1 mile on the treadmill -- up to level 5 incline in 20 minutes.
