OK, it's $420,000...a little out of my price range...and of course we are just not in the position tomove, but I can dream right?

This house is only a few miles from me. I don't know why it is selling for so cheap. It's only a few years old and check out all those extras! The listing had pics of the inside too, and the house is beautiful inside as well as out.

Just to depress ourselves, DH and I are gunna check it out today. Maybe it is built next to the town dump, lol.

Sadly, this house is considered a steal at that price! I had to go see it for myself, and it is beautiful. I wish it had more land, but I can live with that! Across the street is a huge pond too, which the owners would have deeded rights to. Sigh....

You never know Kerry. This could be "the house" that calls to you . Let us know how it checks out. It looks really nice. That does seem to be priced low for the cape. Maybe they are hoping for a quick sell.

NICE house - not my style but very nice.

But what did you guys decide about moving? Is your DH still commuting a long way? They are probably asking a low price because they need to sell and nothing is moving on the CApe so this may be your prime opportunity!!

Good luck!

Cindy

As far as moving goes, we decided that DH will commute for one more year, and then he'll find another job closer to home. At some point, we are gunna have to do something about our living arrangements because our house is just too small. We will need to find a bigger house or add on to our current house. We keep our eyes open for houses around here, but since our house is not even on the market, we aren't in any position to make any offers. We're just looking around.

I have seen that first house you posted. It's on the street where my kids' school is. It is nice, but on a main road. Prices are definately coming down around here, big time! That house that I like will probably sell for $400,000 or less...no one gets full price anywhere anymore.

WOW Kerry...that seems like a good price for a house in your neck of the woods!!!

I guess prices are coming down around there? they don't seem to be going down at all in southern NH!!
