What great discussion last week about books, suggestions, reading level: it's why I love this board!

Alex is into his insect/bug unit at school. He's doing fire ants. So, we're reading about ants with him!
Nick is back to reading Weird School books and riddle/joke books. Yes, the Weird school books are easy but he loves them.

Kate is one chapter away from finishing Harry Potter #4. She asked me at 7:45 this morning whether we could run up to the library to get book 5 before school. She was incredulous when I told her that the library didn't open until 10. lol

Kayleigh and I are both on #5 (I'm remembering why I had a hard time reading this one - that troll Umbridge!)
Yesterday when we were walking up to the school for Kayleigh's band concert I realized she had her book (it's such a habit she never stops to think when she shouldn't/doesn't need to bring it!) So she handed me her book to hold on for her. Not a big deal, except that I had brought my own book, of course, so there I was walking in carrying two of the exact same book. LOL. Talk about looking like a TOTAL geek!

I remember going through that when I worked for the American Cancer Society and was working 60-70 hour weeks. I went through a lot of magazines! LOL
