We're heading into Summer reading time, and I'm looking to make a list of "MUST READ" books for the summer.

What are some of your favorite books you've read the past few months that you would definitely recommend to put on the list?!?!?!

I have read two recently that I would recommend:

"The Things That Keep Us Here" by Carla Buckley

"The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by Steig Larrson

And you may as well read "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest" as well.

I read The Big Year with my DH. I really enjoyed the book. I enjoyed following the characters and people who would go to such lengths to see so many species of birds -- the passion they each had and what drove them individually was fun to read. And, I loved how some of them worked together.

I also read The True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters with my IRL book club this year and I really enjoyed it. The book was written in first person and I really related to her because she was a middle child, had good sense of humor, etc. She also was the family member who got this done during the illness of her sister -- I am like that when family members are ill: I keep my cool and help take control.

Good books!

I am currently reading a Nora Roberts fluff which I am a bit embarrassed to see I am completely into. It is her vampire trilogy called The Circle trilogy. I am on the second book. Once I finish the third, I am off to read Push, which I am expecting to be a difficult, but good read based on the subject matter.

Wicked is on my list. also The Help. both have rave reviews! just need to get through a long book I'm not loving then can dive in on more interesting stuff.

can you share the list you make with us?!

edited to add: one I loved this year if you haven't read it already "Water for Elephants"
