Brenda, how is Kinsey doing on her new book...was it The Hobit?

And, how are the other moppets doing this summer?

Nick and Alex are logging 30 minutes of reading time daily for their summer reading program at our local library...sometimes a bit more.

Nick was reading an Encyclopedia Brown book last night and Alex continues to re-read favorite pictures books -- I'm hoping to find something new for Alex to sink his teeth into but I'm just glad he's reading!

Matt just started a new book this week that he had actually gotten as a gift at Christmas years ago but it was a little advanced for him at the time. I think it's called The Baseball Thief maybe? Something to do with baseball anyway. LOL

Kayleigh is finishing up the 6th Harry Potter book, after taking a little break to re-read her favorite, Anne of Green Gables.

Brayden is reading "Rivals" (a baseaball book of course) and Olivia is on "Junie B Jones, 1st Grader At Last".

I was totally off...it's not The Baseball Thief, it's "The Boy who Saved Baseball." LOL
