I'm still reading Coultier's Whiplash.
And, our book club is meeting this week to discuss The Dogs of Babel. I've read it twice so I'll just skim it before Thursday.

Reading "The Passage". Love it!
I almost bought it the other day, but resisted. I'm on the reserve list at the library, so I'll just wait a while and see if I can get it relatively soon. Or maybe my mom will buy it and then pass it on to me. LOL
I'm hoping to finish up with "House Rules" before we leave on our trip tomorrow afternoon. I had almost given up on Jodi, but I'm enjoying this one!

Change of plans again as Sizzling Sixteen by Evanovich came into my hands via an order placed with half.com. I'm about 100 or so pages into it! I may not make it to my IRL book club discussion as a friend of mine's mom died and I'd like to go to the funeral home tomorrow night. We'll see....

Okay, so I finished "The Passage" and although I loved the book, the ending was sooooooo frustrating. Let me know if any of you read it and what you thought about the way it ended!

I read "The Passage" and loved it too. I don't know of you knew this, but the author presented the first third of the book to his editor and from there they decided to make the book a trilogy. I think it is obvious that the book shifts a bit from the third part on. The characters in the beginning--Amy, the nun, even the prisoners--are so much more developed than the characters that take place 100 years later. I think that after the decision to make the book a trilogy was made, he had to adjust his story accordingly.
Anyways, the ending was quite a cliffhanger for the next book! We have a long wait too, I think it won't be published for a few years.

I read "In the Woods" by an Irish author named Tana French....good book and I highly recommend it.
After that I read a small book called "Winter's Bone" (can't think of the author). It has been recently been made into a movie. Good book, though a bit depressing.
I have nothing to read at the moment! I have on my list to read the next book by Tana French called "The Likeness".

I knew that there were to be more books.....I just wanted a few story lines to be summed up, LOL. He left sooooo much hanging. I will look forward to the next release!
