I thought of you today when I was making lunch at daycare. I put turkey and cheese in totillas and put them in a sandwich maker. The kids loved them. We served them with grapes, carrots, and Ranch dressing. The kids liked dipping the tortilla things in the Ranch. It's amazing what you can put in a tortilla.

Brenda

ps. I made "cupcakes" in the sandwich maker for snack. It's a pretty handy little thing.

Oooh I love the sandwich maker!! I think I have like 4 of them (usually just use 2 at a time.) I love making pancakes, cupcakes and different sandwiches in them.

Good idea about the tortillas. I'll have to try that for the kids lunches, plain old regular sandwiches can get boring real quick!

I think there's one hanging around in the fridge still, but I took your great suggestion and sent a wrap for M's lunch a couple of times with turkey, mustard, cheese and romaine inside. Also made myself some scrambled eggs and put them inside one with a swipe of mustard. That was awesome!

Thanks for the great ideas! Tortillas aren't a staple for me like I think they are for you, but I'll buy them more often now.
