and thanks again for all of the support y'day! It wasn't the best day starting w/ my dog jumping in the neighbor's pool to getting the news about my grandma & then I left the passenger sliding door open on the van by accident & when we went to go to church last night the van was dead!! AND we couldn't find the jumper cables & it was raining!!! We ended up driving my dh's car which has no A/C. Just one of those days.....

I borrowed 2 dresses from my bf Michelle- the black one that I wore to the WP banquet http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p...079&uid=5044625 (where it says Jess ~ April '05, it's black w/ roses) & another one that I *might* wear if I'm feeling brave. It's navy halter dress w/ an empire waist w/ a little bit of silver on it. Michelle & Greg of course told me it looks great but I felt a bit hoochie in it!! However, this will be a lot of people at the wedding that haven't seen me since HS....oh, and I think I'm going to straighten my hair too.

Ok, gotta do my workout & then start packing! Have a great weekend & I know I'll be checking in from my Mom's computer when I can. I plan to go visit Grandma today if possible, at least I'll have my brother to watch the girls so we can take turns (I don't think they'll be able to see her if she's still in ICU).

I didn't get to post yesterday and was going to today so I better make it quick before you leave. I really hope your grandmother is doing better Jess. It is so hard to see them doing so well and then in the hospital. My grandfather is about your grandmother's age and he was great until April when he had two heart attacks and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. That was crushing. I am pulling for your grandmother to get these problems behind her and be back to her usual self. Please let us know when you get back how she is doing.

Have tons of fun at the wedding. We went to a wedding January and had the best time. I say you wear the 'hoochie' dress with PRIDE!!! You have worked too darn hard to cover it up and a summer wedding is the perfect opportunity to show it off ; ) Go for it and be proud!!! I expect a full report with pictures when you get back

I love the black dress. Haven't seen the other one, so can't compare, but I hope you get the "guts" to wear the "hoochie" one. LOL Bet you would look great in it. Take lot's a pics and share with us when you are back. Have fun at the wedding.

Thanks again, ladies! We made it here safely & the girls are getting spoiled by Uncle Scot. Mom will be home from work soon. Scot did prepare me by saying that the Dr. didn't think Grandma would make it another year.... Mom & I are going to see her after dinner & then I think Scot will take a turn to visit.

As for the dress, my only problem is that my back isn't that tan yet!! My shoulders are from wearing tanks, but my back hasn't seen much sun yet! We'll see how the dress looks, I'll at least take a pic of me in it! I just don't like the halter thing, I don't feel comfy w/out a bra on for some reason!

Anyway, just thought I'd check in while I had a minute. I did manage to do my Pilates this afternoon while the girls were playing/ watching cartoons (they love it since we don't have cable & Grandma does! ).

And LS, I'm headed to Target tonight for a couple things & am going to buy LGN!!!! I'm so excited! If they don't have it, I'll head to Walmart!
