It's been a terrible two weeks. Seriously, I have had a cold non-stop since two weekends ago and on top of morning sickness. Marcel, Kale and Mickey have been sick as well. Marcel has been so bad he's stayed home all week from work and he never gets sick so this one is a doozy. Mickey this morning, started throwing up. Marcel looked after him since he was home anyway. But it's progressed to the diapers and he's getting dehydrated, won't drink any thing but he will nurse, so I'll probably have to stay home tomorrow.

Last week sometime I got some pain in my foot. It went away and then two days ago it came back. It's in the top of my foot, it's swollen there and it feels like arthritic pain. Thing is I don't know what I did to it, so I'm at a loss as to a reason why it's hurting. It hurts to move my foot around to much but when I point my toes it feels hot or numb, it's a weird feeling. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I think I'll have to go see the doctor tomorrow and take Mickey in. So I'm sure I'm up for a unpleasant night if Mickey keeps up with his diaper issues but he's also sleeping alot. I'll have to wake him soon to nurse him. Right now he's a sleep on the couch and I'll have to move him to bed.

awwwww, get well vibes headed your way! I hope everyone in your family feels better. As for your cold on top of morning sickness, I know that I get majorly increased nasal stuffiness when pregnant that appear as if I have a non-stop cold or sinus infection. Perhaps you're experiencing that, too. I also have some seasonal allergies which only made that nasal stuffiness from the pregnancy TURBO worse. YUCK.

AW! That stinks. I hope you guys all get to feeling better! P & PT that Mickey doesn't get dehydrated and that you get to feeling better soon.

I really feel for you on that m/s, too. Are you trying anything to help it? I would have to force myself to eat crackers (the only thing that's smell didn't make me sicker). It seemed like when my stomach was empty, that's when the m/s was the worst. I ended up getting on a RX around 4 mos pg b/c I couldn't handle it anymore. When do you have your next OB appointment?

About your foot, maybe it could be swelling from the pregnancy? I'd check w/ your doc and hope that you get some relief soon! About your nasal congestion, I usually get lots of nasal congestion that makes me feel like I have a cold while I'm pregnant.

Hope you are feeling better soon. I remember being sick with bad colds in my pregnancies and that was NO fun!! Hope your foot is feeling better.

I took Mickey to the nursing station a little while ago and he's got tonsilitis and is now on antibiotics. Poor little gaffer! He's sleeping again and not keeping anything down. So I hope the antibiotics kick in soon. He said I'd see a difference in 24 hours. I hope. I hate seeing him like this.
