I've owned it for a long time but I rarely do the workouts that are over 20 min (other than sculpting circle, of course). But I actually had the time yesterday. Wow! My back is a little stiff. That was a good workout and it has lots of upper body work in it. I'll have to remember to do that one more often.
And it hit 110 yesterday, so I am done with doing my long runs outside. I had been getting up earlier and earlier to get the miles in before it's too hot. Last week when my alarm went off a 4am it occurred to me that I was about at my limit! So tomorrow I'm going to try to do 17 miles on the treadmill at my gym . . . is that nuts or what?! That's nearly 3 hrs on a treadmill . . . I'm not sure I'm going to make it. I went to the library yesterday and got a book on CD. I'm going to burn it on my iRiver and listen to that while I run. Music and tv just would not keep me entertained that long so I'm hoping a book is better.

Hey Rach!
WTG on the 45 minute workout! And good luck with your TM run, I can't imagine 3 hours.
If anyone can do it- you can!
I had been meaning to post to you: remember back in March (before my knee saga), when I was thinking about doing the 4-person relay in the Med City Marathon? That was last weekend and it was so hot and humid they called the race off about 3 hours into it and closed the course. Since in our initial talks, I was going to do the last leg, I wouldn't have been able to finish, or maybe not have even gotten started since everyone had such a slow pace! So, I'm not feeling quite so bad about missing that.
Let me know how listening to the book on tape works, I've thought of trying that, too. If I ever get out there again.
I get the big shot on Tuesday, I'll let you know how it goes. The massage therapist told me this morning the actual shot can be quite painful. So I guess I won't take the kids with me since I always tell them to be brave during their shots, LOL.

Wow Rachel. That is wild to think of running on a treadmill for 3 hours!! I could NEVER keep myself on there that long. I hope the book works for you to keep entertained.
I have yet to get any Core Secrets workouts but think I am going to have to step up my upper body workouts. I am not getting enough triceps work in with the WP UBS workouts so I might have to try the CS one! Thanks for the heads-up.
Good luck tomorrow at the gym (or is this message from yesterday and that would mean the gym today? LOL!)
