I know these aren't much to look at. At least I think it's hard to tell from these pictures, plus they were taken in the winter, so it looks kind of bleak! LOL... but we're 98% sure that this is the where we will be building a new house in my hometown. It's not started or anything, in fact, we really haven't even picked that out, or narrowed it down. We have some ideas and have met with the builder. Once we do decide to move forward, it will take about a month for him to draw up plans. I think we may start on that at least, so once our house sells, we can move forward.

We are not starting anything until we sell our house. We're not interested in making two house payments whatsoever, especially in this market. Who knows how long it will take to sell our house!

Anyway, here is the lot. It's on the edge of town, not much traffic and on a small cul-de-sac. We'd be at the end. There are currently four houses built so far, three with people living in them, and one for sale by the builder. There will be 14 homes total. It's about a half acre.

From the main road looking towards the lot...(when the house is built, you'll see the side of the house and a little of the back.)

Pics of our neighbors homes...we've already met them and they are very nice!
This house would be to our right...and the next one is on the other side of that house.

They look much nicer now, as they've put their yards in this spring.

That's about it for now. I'll keep you posted! Thanks for reading.

Looks like a nice, peaceful, rural setting! And a half acre is a great size -- not too big and not too small. I hope it all works out for you. And I totally agree about not having 2 house payments. We may be stuck in that situation for awhile and I'm not loving the idea at all.
