and DH has it almost half filled already; floor to ceiling! I'm a little worried that we won't have enough space. But can I just say how impressed I am with DH and is packing/loading/organizing skills! He has packed a good portion of the house and now he has fit that in the container like a puzzle! I need to get some pictures of that. Honestly, we have so much crap. And I've even done really with getting rid of things. I've sold a bunch on Craigslist (even though I have a lot more).

Here are a few of the container being delivered.

I think we are doing pretty good on the packing. We just have part of the kitchen left, some of the bathroom stuff, girls toys/clothes (which are pretty organized), and our clothes. Of course, there is all that miscellaneous stuff too.

I just hope it fits! The container is like 8wx20lx8.5h. They say a three bedroom is supposed to fit in there and we really don't have three full bedrooms, as Brice has already moved out, and the second bedroom is just the girls stuff. Well, if it doesn't fit, I know it's not for lack of good organization, because DH wins that HANDS DOWN!

Saturday, my dad is coming up with this pickup and we are loading up our upright freezer and all it's contents. The sellers have graciously let us bring our freezer there three weeks early so we don't have to find a place for it and move it twice. They even said they'd move theirs out to the garage, so we could put ours in the laundry/utility room! Isn't that just the nicest thing?

Then we close on the 15th and they will come pick up the container that day and take it to storage. The buyer of our home is leaving that night back to San Diego and will be gone for awhile. I'm just keeping a key and then I'll go back the next day and do all my cleaning. I'm so glad that #1, I don't have to worry about that while I'm trying to get everything out of here and #2, that I won't have to have the girls underfoot while I do the cleaning.

So, that's what's going on here. I'm taking L & S to my SIL's today. They are staying overnight, so I can get a ton of packing done today & tomorrow. I have to work for about 3 hours tomorrow for one of my clients, then head down to pick up the girls. Then DH is celebrating his birthday (early, it's the 18th) after work, so we all are meeting him at the restaurant. We're still trying to fit some fun things in, amidst all the commotion.

Thanks for reading!

Ugggh, packing is the worst! I'm happy for you that your DH is so good at packing! Lucky you! Good luck with the rest of your move!
