we picked out don't really match the cabinets!

We only saw the tiny counter sample when we picked it(actually DH really wanted this color, I liked another better but gave in). Now I have no idea what we are going to do. It's only laminate but we got a beveled edge which was expensive!

Beautiful house. Although it's hard to tell from the pictures, I think the counters contrast the cupboards nicely. But, I'm the kinda person that likes things to not match perfectly (I have knotty pine cupboards, red walls, green walls and a splotchy grey/green countertop).

I think your kitchen looks beautiful. I think the counters and cupboards compliment each other. I don't know what look you were going for though, so I could understand if you were upset if it didn't turn out as you'd pictured it. I'd have to say that no one will be the wiser and it looks fabulous to me!

Well, I had a hard time really seeing the counters(maybe I had the wrong pictures though). But what i could tell it doesn't look bad at all.
THe house looks great so far, can't wait to see it when it's done.

It's hard to tell in the pics. I'm sure you can see things we can't, but I think they took terrific. Looks like things are coming along!
